Since I was a little girl, telling stories and writing have been passions of mine that only grew stronger as time went on. However, it wasn't until college that I realized I have what it takes to be an exceptional journalist.
In April 2016, I graduated with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in multimedia from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. I also left with a portfolio of work that showcased my writing skills.
I am currently an assistant editor at a health publishing company in New York City. I write short- and long-form stories about African Americans and people living with HIV and cancer.
Journalism is what I love to do. I plan to make it my life's work.
